For more than 24 year, I dedicated my career to education, helping learners build knowledge through thoughtfully designed, engaging instruction. I earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, where I developed expertise in creating educational programs that are logical, effective, and built around how people learn best.

Alongside my career in education, quilting and sewing have been lifelong passions. With over 30 years of experience in garment construction, sewing and quilt making, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for both the artistry and technical precision that make quilting such a rewarding craft.

As I visited quilt shops and observed beginner classes, I noticed a common challenge: while instructors were knowledgeable and passionate, many classes relied on individually created lesson plans that varied from instructor to instructor. New quilters often received inconsistent instruction, making it harder to build confidence and long-term success. That realization inspired me to combine my two areas of expertise-professional curriculum design and quilting.

The result is a comprehensive, ready-to-teach curriculum created specifically for independent quilt shops and sewing machine dealers. My goal is to help businesses provide a consistent, high-quality educational experience that supports instructors, builds student confidence, and encourages long-term customer relationships.

Every lesson is intentionally sequenced, every activity has a purpose, and every resource is designed to make teaching easier while helping students succeed. By providing a structured educational system, I hope to help quilt shops strengthen their instructional programs, increase customer loyalty and inspire the next generation of quilters.
